The Best Sisig Ever
This is the best sisig ever, hands down.

It approximates the texture and taste of real sisig better than all of the restos that have tried. And Look Ma, no clogged arteries! (Please let me know if you’ve discovered a sisig better than this!)
Too bad I don’t live in Quezon City. The people in Greens would see a lot more of me if I did!

(Oh no!)
Arroz Caldo and Tokwa’t Tokwa
Yay for comfort food: Arroz caldo and tokwa’t tokwa. Something to give your insides a hug on a cloudy/rainy day.

Arroz Caldo
The meat version of the arroz caldo has chicken, while the tokwa’t tokwa is tokwa’t baboy (with pork). It is just fantastic.

Spiral at Sofitel Phillippine Plaza
The best. buffet. ever.
If you disagree – if you think there is a much better buffet that can please both vegans and meat-eaters alike for under $25, please let me know!

Popped Flowers, anyone?
These are actual popped flowers, and they taste just like popcorn!

You can’t eat this watching a movie though – the cusps are sharp and must not be eaten. Still a nice novelty appetizer/snack though.
Thank you to Inagiku in Makati Shangrila.
Mushrooms Galore!

- Mushroom Salad

- Mushroom Pasta
I love these sweet mushrooms! Have you ever had them in pancit canton? I kept thinking about the pancit canton at the Sofitel Plaza Easter buffet. I didn’t have pictures of those then. These are from a different resto. Discovery Suites, I think.
Oh My Gulay!
I wonder if this is the same Oh My Gulay that used to be in Alabang. Hmmm…
